Tomasz Jaswilko, 48, left this world May 29th, 2023 in his loving home in Glen Ellyn, IL. He was born to Maria and Stanislaw Jaswilko on June 22nd, 1974 in Bialystok, Poland and was an older brother to Marek. He was the husband of Sylwia and father of Emily (20), Eric (16), and Elisa (13).
He passed away due to stage four cancer. He was diagnosed in 2019 and fought for 4 years. During those hard times he went over multiple rounds of chemo, several surgeries, infections and all the side effects that chemo causes. In the last two months he was put on a clinical trial for a chemo which that was our last hope. Unfortunately due to liver failure, the chemotherapy was not working and there was no other options left for us. Before the week of his passing he was in in-home hospice, in which he was blessed to be surrounded by family, friends and unconditional love.
Before diagnosis he worked for Men’s Warehouse as a truck driver. He enjoyed traveling and being on the road as much as he could. He was blessed to travel around the US with his family to show his kids what the world can offer. He greatly valued spending quality time with his family and friends. Since January of this year, he started remodeling our kitchen and never got the chance to finish it completely. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. May he rest in Heaven and be with God.
We would love you to come and honor his life at the Mass that is being held on June 3rd at 10:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 502 S. Park Blvd., Streamwood, IL followed by the burial at Forest Hill Cemetery at 815 N. Ridford Rd., Glen Ellyn, IL
