Tadeusz Migon

Tadeusz “Ted” Migon, age 79 passed away at home on Friday, March 31, 2023. Tadeusz was one of twelve children born to Janina & Michal Migon in Wielka Wies, Poland on April 8, 1943.
After attending grade school, he pursued a career in the trades as a carpenter. From the age of 19-21, he served the mandatory two years in the Polish army. In June 1968, Tadeusz married Dorota, nee Pawlina. Together with their three children, they immigrated to the USA in Dec 1974, where they welcomed their fourth child and began their new life in Chicago, IL. After several years working at a steel mill, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own general construction company. For nearly 30 years, he operated his business successfully, until his retirement in 2011.
Ted was a humble man who was led by his strong faith in God and the Catholic Church. He was happiest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. In his retirement, Ted enjoyed spending time with his family, watching all Chicago team sports, fishing in Wisconsin, and reading. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorota and children, Krystyna (Dariusz) Mocarski, Albert (Grace Kwon) Migon, Liz Miller, and Margie, along with his loving grandkids, Alison (28), Izabella (27), Charlie (27), Julia (23), Emme (19) & Sofia (18). Daddy, “Dziadziu”, thank you for all the loving memories. We will miss you greatly and we love you forever. Until we meet again!
