Rodolfo Casas Nevarez

October 4, 1956 — September 7, 2024

Rudy passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2024 at 4:40 PM, at Advocate Christ Medical Center, in Oak Lawn, IL. He was born on 10/04/1956 to Prudenciana Nevarez and Luis Casas in Portales Guanacevi Durango, in Mexico.
He arrived to the United States in the year 1972, little did he know this would be where he would create a home for his future family. He was blessed to have fallen in love with Margarita Sanchez and married her in the year 1980. They shared 44 years of being happily married, and they were blessed to have had 4 sons and 1 daughter.
We will never forget the hard worker that he was. He enjoyed going to work specially when he worked at "Augies". He met some of the most wonderful people there, it saddened him when the place was going to be closed down. He always spoke about all the amazing people he met and the bonds he made with the bosses, customers and his co-workers.
Another thing he loved were his cars and back in the day he had 2 mortor cycles. One day he even stated if he was able to get the chance to ride a plane, he would do it in a heartbeat.
He was the best spouse, companion, brother, father, and we think one of his favorite roles of all was being blessed to get the chance to be called grandpa. Never a dull moment with him. He was like no other. He will be missed by us all and he will always be remembered in our hearts. May he rest in paradize and his memories stay with us until we meet again.
