Ophelia Torres

Ophelia E. Torres, age 96, was born in Chicago, IL, on December 2, 1928, and peacefully passed away on February 9, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of George Estrada and Genevieve Lopez, and a devoted wife to the late Lazaro Torres Sr.

Ophelia was a beloved sister to David Estrada, Nick Estrada, Amelia Guiliano, George Estrada, and Raul Estrada. She was a proud mother to Lazaro Torres Jr., David Torres, Anthony Torres, Adam Torres, and Daniel Torres.

A grandmother, aunt, and dear friend to many, Ophelia will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, passion for music, love of dance, and infectious laughter. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
