Nelson Tirado

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nelson Tirado, who left this world on
Thursday May 30th, 2024. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Nelson was born on January 1st, 1956, to Maria Luisa Ortiz and Alejandro Tirado in Maunabo,
Puerto Rico where he was also raised by his grandparents, Carmen Cruz and Salvador Tirado.
During his working years, Nelson had many jobs. He worked as a security guard for over 15
years. Ultimately, in August 2023 he retired from Linden House after working there for 14 years.
Nelson was predeceased by his mother, father, brother, sisters and son, Nelson Junior Tirado
“Coco”. He is survived by his wife Wanda, 2 sons Anthony and Eddie, 2 daughters Christina and
Priscilla, and 6 grandchildren, Ilani, Mahalia, Mikayla, Nelson Jaime, Brylie and Gianna. In
addition to a multitude of friends who will cherish his memory forever. Nelson will be deeply
missed.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at Pietryka Funeral Home
followed by a 6:30 pm memorial service and burial on Thursday, June 6th at Mount Olive
Cemetery.
Nelson may have left this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May he Rest in Peace.
