Michal Chowaniec

They always say the most beautiful souls will leave too soon.
Michal Bogan Chowaniec, passed away on July 27th 2023. Michal was born to Jan and the late Danuta Chowaniec on September 13 1966 in Krynica Zdroj, Poland. Michal is the beloved brother of Robert Chowaniec and Agnieszka Zalewski and the late Jacek Chowaniec. Michal had a special relationship with his brother in law Mark Zalewski, although they were not born brothers, the universe had a way to bring them together. His love didn’t just stop there, he was an outstanding uncle to all of his nieces and nephews, including his god daughter Nicole and god son Krystian. His love for his wife Beata and son Radek was vibrant and was shown deeply.
His soul shined the brightest being a grandfather to Leo and Mario, he would shower them with love and occasional treats of kubus and chocolates and toys he found and fixed especially for them. His face would light up when he heard the words " Dziadziuś" running straight to him. We will never stop reminding them of how much their Dziadziuś loved and adored them . Michal knew how to make his friends and family smile with his silly Polish dad jokes, and would always lend a hand when asked; never expecting something in return.
Michal had a passion for Cinematography and enjoyed watching movies with his late Kotek Waldek, they were inseparable. He was an incredibly skilled and intelligent man. Anything you would ask him to assemble or to build from scratch would be done to perfection, which he enjoyed doing most with his son Radek.
He was the definition of jack of all trades.
Michal loved listening to music, watching concerts at full blast where the whole house shook. Just like his death has shook many of us.
