Lena Ann Burton

Lena Ann Burton 76, passed away on December 23rd, 2024, in Chicago Il, born on December 2nd, 1948, Lena lived a rich and vibrant life marked by her devotion to family and her passion for cooking and baking.

Lena is survived by her loving children, Steven and Sara, son-in-law Kenneth; Grandchildren, Cara, Destiny, Joseph, Liam and Corey; Grandson-in-law Gabe; Great-granddaughter Liliana. She also leaves behind her cherished family pet Piglet. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Ercel; her parents, Martin and Virginia; her in-laws, David and Hazel; and her son, Michael.

A dedicated parishioner of St. Williams Church, Lena found great solace and community through her faith. Her home was often filled with delicious aromas of her cooking, and she took great joy in sharing her culinary creations with family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Lena’s life will be held at Pietryka funeral home, located at 5734 W. Diversey ave., on Sunday, December 29, from 1pm to 5pm
