Kathleen Kenny

Kathleen Kenny (Woodford, Galway, Ireland) passed away peacefully August 5th, 2023. Predeceased by her father Michael (Kenny) and Mother Kathleen (Lynch, Kenny) Sadly, missed and much loved by brothers Padraig (Kenny) and Michael (Kenny) sisters Margaret (Foy) and Bridie (Cunniffe) brothers-in-law Dermot (Foy) and Martin (Cunniffe) sister-in-law Breda (Kenny) nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Kathleen moved to Chicago at 19 years old from Woodford, Galway Ireland and lived on the northwest side of the city, specifically on Mc Vicker Avenue for 48 years where family and friends visited for many good times over the years. She was known to many for her time at The Irish Village in Chicago, where she worked for many years and at Irish Imports at Chicago's Navy Pier. May Kathleen's Soul rest in Peace. Her wishes were to be cremated and brought back to Ireland as a final resting place and those wishes will be honored by her niece Caroline Cunniffe Henderson. A memorial will take place at a later date.
