It is with great sadness that we announce that JÓZEF BURZYŃSKI - a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, whose life was marked by the testimony of hard work, family and religious values ​​- passed away at the age of 90.
A builder by profession, a long-time janitor at St. Hyacinth's Basilica in Chicago, a devoted and respected member of the community. He was passionate about Polish history and was a devoted patriot.
In his free time, he liked photography, traveling, watching nature programs and Radio Maryja. The greatest pleasure for him was meeting people over good coffee and his favorite ice cream.
Above all, faith and religious values ​​were Joseph's priority. He manifested his faith by participating in many pilgrimages and was a long-time member of the Archconfraternity of the Honor Guard and the Living Rosary Circle.
Joseph will always be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. May God reward him with eternal life for the great good he has done.
Józef left behind his wife Jadwiga (nee Sak) and his loving children Marek (Małgorzata), Barbara, Mariola, Katarzyna, the late Małgorzata, grandchildren Klaudie (Karla), Sebastian (Agnieszka) and great-grandchildren Mikołaj and Otis.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Saint Hyacinth Church 3636 W Wolfram St., Chicago, IL 60618, after which the body will be at the final resting place 8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
