Joseph Kryczka

Joseph (Jozef) L. Kryczka, 96, born on July 4, 1923 in Zabawa (Tarnow), Poland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Chicago, IL. The son of Jan & Katarzyna (Los) Kryczka. Joseph came to Chicago on August 4th, 1967 with his family. In Poland, he was a farmer and musician. In Chicago, he worked in a factory as a machine operator until retirement. He was skilled in woodworking, sewing, and shoe repair.Joseph will be dearly missed by his daughter, Stella (Stanislawa) Czarnecki, and grandson, Waldemar Czarnecki. He will remain in our hearts forever. He is preceded in death by parents and siblings: Alojziu, Jan, Jozefa, Wladyslaw, Tadeusz and Stanislaw.Wake will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 4:00-8:00pm at Pietryka Funeral Home, 5735 W. Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL 60639. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10:00am at St. James (Jakubowo) Parish, 5730 W.
