John W Kolodziej

John W. Kolodziej, born October 18th, 1930, met the Lord on December 24th, 2021. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. John grew up near Tarnow, Poland and came to the US in 1965. He had a love for plants and animals. He enjoyed visiting new places and meeting new people. Even though he worked and lived in Chicago his passion was farm life, so he greatly enjoyed going to his farm in Benton Heights, Michigan whenever possible. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. John is preceded in death by his wife Anna, brother Alfred, and sister Basha. He is survived by his sister Salomea, daughters Christine (Dennis), Gloria, and Mary (Phil), grandchildren Joseph (Heather) and Vanessa (Adam), great grandchildren Ashton, Jacob, and Layla.
