Jan Mierwa, age 68, passed away on September 13, 2023. Loving father of Beata (Jose) Feliciano and Grace (Michael Serrano) Mierwa. Dear grandfather of Julian, Jayden, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Carter, and Michael Jr. Cherished son of Anna (nee Młynarczyk) and the late Władysław Mierwa. Fond brother of Maria (late Edward) Szczech, Francziska (late Jan) Hyc, Krystyna (Jan) Mateja and Bronisława (Jozef) Krupa. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation is on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 4-8pm at Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL. 60639. Funeral will be held on Friday, September 22 at 11 AM at St. Ladislaus Parish, 5345 W Roscoe St, Chicago, IL. 60641. Interment to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery.
