Helena Puzewska

Helena Puzewska passed away peacefully (with strong spirit as always) in a hospital with caregiver Danuta by her side on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 88. Helena is survived by her loving, most amazing and caring daughter-in-law Jolanta Puzewski who supported her fully for over 3 years and ensured Helena always had the best care possible and remained at home per Helena’s wishes. Most importantly cared by Danuta, Ula and Lili who we all owe so much gratitude for day in and out care for our loving Helena; her grandchildren Paulina, Jakub, Adrian (Agnes) and Jennifer (James); with great grandchildren Ola, Bennett, Charlie and Wesley. Dear sister of Anna, Antoni, Jadwiga and Marianna including families.

About Helena: 

Helena was born in Poland. Her occupation was an accountant, and she was very loved and respected by many people. She came to America in 1981 at the age of 45 by herself to seek more opportunities for her family. She always stayed in touch with her family and friends from Poland. She sponsored many friends, her kids and family members to come to USA. Helena was caring, kind and always helping others whenever she could. Most amazing memories are those of Helena serving others, cooking and hosting amazing parties that will remain with us all forever. Love you forever mama, babcia, pra babcia, siostra, ciocia and friend, (mom, grandma, great grandmother, aunt and friend).

The family respectfully requests no flowers be sent and anything to be provided for Helena’s wonderful caregivers and burial.
