Guadalupe Medina passed away Tuesday June 4, 2019 in Dyer, Indiana. He was born February 25, 1948 to Cirilo Medina and Virginia Medina (Gamino) in San Francisco Del Rincon, Guanajuato (Mexico). Beloved husband to his wife Elia Medina (Serna). They shared 54 years of marriage. A loving father to his daughters and sons, Mario (Rosalva) Medina, Josie (Alex) Medina, Cirila Lopez, Olivia (Ubaldo) Medina, Veronica (Jesse) Garcia and Gilberto (Juanita) Medina. Proud Grandfather to the Alizandra Medina, Cynthia Medina, Brianna Medina, Ariana Rubi Medina, Mario Miguel Medina, Loren Morales, Angela Morales, Mateo Morales, Julian Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Cristian Tirado, Favian Tirado, Karina Garcia, Viviana Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Veronica Andrea Garcia. A great grandfather to Aliyah Garcia. A cherished Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Great Uncle to many as well. He will be missed by all of his friends and family that he loved very much.


There will be a viewing at Pietryka Funeral Home at 5734 W. Diversey Ave, Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. His final resting place will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery 801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409
