Gloria M Arroyo

Gloria M Arroyo, 73, of Chicago, Illinois, was born December 31, 1943 in Manati, Puerto Rico. Gloria returned to her heavenly home Saturday, September 9, 2017. Daughter of Daniel González and Edelmira Arroyo. Mother of 6 children, 2 lovely daughters and 4 honest men: William Arroyo, Blanca Arroyo, Enrique Arroyo, Rosemary Gonzalez, Pedro Arroyo Jr., and Angel Arroyo; who granted her 20 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. She raised two of her grandchildren, which she cared for dearly as her own. Gloria Arroyo is distinguished as a fearless woman of God, loving, humble and benign. Gloria loved sharing and giving to others selflessly. She was a woman of faith and servant of the Lord regardless of her limitations. A woman of many talents and amazing cooking; she gave to her community and was well known for her cafecito and pasteles. Her home was her favorite place to gather with her family and loved ones. Gloria Arroyo, a virtuous strong woman, and an exemplary mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; her family, friends and church will always remember her kindness and her smile. A mother to all, who held her children's hands for a while, but will hold their hearts forever.
