Artur Pecak

Artur Pecak, beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather, cousin, uncle, and friend passed from this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the age of 67 after a long battle with depression. He is survived by his children, Wiktoria and Kamil, his sister Beata, his nephew Marcin, his granddaughter Jordan, and many more family members and friends. Artur was born in Krakow, Poland and grew up in Skawina. He immigrated to the United States in his mid 30’s. Artur started a trucking business which was called Anivax Trucking. He was always saying that Anivax is the name of the city where he grew up - Skawina spelling backwards. Artur was an inspiration in business, a mentor, a beacon of unwavering strength and joy. His absence leaves an unfillable void in our lives, but his radiant spirit continues to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us, just as he used to. Good-bye Artur, until we meet again, in a place where there are no goodbyes, only the joyous reunion of souls that were meant to journey together. A funeral reception will be held for Artur at the Pietryka Funeral Home 5734 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL 60639 on Feb 23, 2024, from 4 pm till 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held for Artur at St Constance Church - 5843 W Strong St, Chicago, IL 60630 - on Feb 24,2024 at 11 am. All who knew Artur are welcomed to attend. Artur, you will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.
