Anna Olszewska

Anna Olszewska peacefully passed away on January 22nd 2022 at 9:55 pm at 92 years old surrounded by her loving family. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Antoni, sisters Felicia and Leokadia, brother, and son Kazimierz (Jadwiga) Łęgowski. She is survived by her beloved children; Jadwiga (Tadeusz) Domanski, Grazyna (late Jan) Malska/Bukowska, and Margaret (Casey) Burgraff. Her beloved grandchildren; Dorothy (James) Welborn, Katarzyna (Grzegorz) Czuż, Anna (Eric) Lambrechts, Paweł Łęgowski, Agnes (Bart) Banaszewski, Krzysztof Łęgowski, Justyna (Marcin) Simson, Margaret (Ken) Sullivan, Justine (Keith) Hesse, and Nicole Burgraff. Her beloved great-grandchildren; Marcin, Jimmy, Damian, Julia, Zuzia, Daniel, Matthew, Natalia, Mason, Ania, and Anthony.


Our Mama, Babcia, and Prababcia was deeply loved and adored by her family and her warm presence would always light up any room. She will be missed dearly by anyone who knew her but her memories will live on in the hearts and minds of all.


Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 25th at Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734 W Diversey Ave in Chicago from 4-8pm. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 26th at St. Zachary’s Church, 567 W Algonquin Rd in Des Plaines at 10am.


We love you with all of our hearts and we will miss you forever.
