Anna “Hania” Gubernat, age 68, passed away peacefully January 31, 2020 amongst family and friends. She was born July 5, 1951 in Zolkiewka, Poland to Alfred and Michalina Boron.
Anna was a teacher in Poland but dreamed of moving to America to live the dream. Her vision inspired many of her family to follow in her footsteps. She was instrumental to helping many come here. While in Chicago, she met her husband, Jerry, and was his devoted wife of 45 years.
