Adam Zygmunt Adamus, 72, of Streamwood, IL, passed away on January 17, 2024. He was born on April 27, 1951, in Tarnow, Poland. Adam was a loving husband to Teresa Kiwior-Adamus, devoted father to his sons Adrian, Adam, Andy with daughter in law Raquel, brother to Zdzislaw, uncle to Anita, Monika, Edyta and Mateusz. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren Alexandra, Amelia, Sofia, Szymon, Emilia, David and Alexander. Adam was a proud member of the Polish Army, where he served his country with honor and dedication. After his military service, he pursued a successful career as a Tool and Die Maker. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were highly regarded by his colleagues and employers.
Outside of his professional life, Adam had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature through fishing, hunting and hiking. His love of playing guitar and painting allowed him to express his creativity. He loved spending time with his family and was always the life of the party providing joy and happiness to every occasion.
Adam is preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Adamus, and his brother, Wesley. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing.
